A fully automated newsletter management system is installed into the website. It also boasts a private area for a parent. This makes it possible for the staff of Growing Places to communicate and keep on record everything the child has done or needs. You can use it to deposit photos, diaries or any other relevant information that Growing Places wants to share with parents but keep it just between the management and parents.
The system also allows Growing Places to inform parents via email of any tasks they need to fulfil.
Growing Places is a nursery school in Gourock, Inverclyde. They offer child care for children from the age of 6 weeks to school age.. They chose to use Media-Slave Communications for our website functions and communication.
We gave them a full CMS (content-managed website) and a newsletter component. Their website is a great success as it provides child vacancy information and also allows parents to have a better knowledge of what is happening with events and days out. All parents are able to register for the newsletter so that they aren’t relying on pieces of paper to help them remember what is going on.
Their website is new however is already proving successful. Due to the site being content managed, Growing Places are able to update all the information themselves without paying another party to do the work for them, in effect saving them money.
For more information on how their site works contact us and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have and how we can help you. Their website is growingplaces-nursery.co.uk.
