We fully support, use and promote the use of free and Open Source software. We do this because we believe software should be open to use and it is wrong for some companies to have the monopoly on software. This allows them to charge rediculous prices and make stupendous profits. The only looser in this relationship is the end user, especially small businesses.
This section should be very useful to all companies, but it is mainly aimed at small or growing businesses in Inverclyde, Greenock, Glasgow and Scotland who should not be bogged down with expensive software licenses. This money can be spent better elsewhere. For more information on Free Software or alternative IT solutions other than Microsoft please contact us.

If you run a small business you might be surprised how expensive proprietary software can be. Software to do even the most menial of daily tasks like writing letters, sharing calendars and tasks and many more. Google has lead again in addressing this issue. Google Apps has a great collection of software, web based, that allows you to have a near full office suit with collaboration at your finger tips. Businesses, schools and organizations can now get powerful communication, productivity, collaboration and security tools right from the browser, leaving more time and money to focus on core objectives.
We believe this to be a great addition and help to small businesses in the Inverclyde and Greenock Area. |
