Clydescapes has nearly been sold out!Written by Helmut Watterott
Clydescapes is a book of poems and photos about Inverclyde. Iain Mills approached us to build a website for Westmill Media (an organisation which will in the future keep running charitable programmes). The site was designed to promote, inform and sell 'online' the Clydescapes book.
The book was also put into many outlets and some outlets might still have some copies left. All the profit from the book goes to the Ardgowan Hospice. We are very proud to have played even a small part in this effort. We built the site and helped with online promotion as well as social media help and advice. We also had copies at our SearchScotland.Org stand at last years Largs Viking Festival at which we managed to shift quite a few.
"Clydescapes is now practically sold out. Over 900 copies have been sold in six months, and all profits will go to Ardgowan Hospice. Some of the outlets listed on this site may still have a few copies meantime. Thanks to everyone who has supported the project in any way. As well as generating money for an extremely worthwhile cause, I hope it has helped bring an understanding of the quality of Inverclyde's heritage, environment and social history to a wider audience. Watch this site for other, future initiatives"

This is a great achievement and we hope we are involved with future projects of Westmill Media.
