The term, Web 2.0, has become so common that it's now almost one of those labels that everyone knows, but nobody knows the definition of. Well I would say there is no clear definition, I like to think of it as new thinking, openess, bravery and strategy, all with a little help of technology.

After successfully submitting your web site to a search engine or directory, it's up to those organizations to list your site. Most search engines will send a "spider" to your site within a few weeks of submission. The spider will read and index your web site and schedule your site to be listed. It usually takes 6-8 weeks before your site appears on major search engines.

Web visitors generally use search engines to find sites matching their search criteria. The visitor enters words or phrases in the search area, and the search engine produces a list of related sites. The search engine provides this information after conducting a more comprehensive search using indexing software agents, often called "robots" or "spiders".
These robots and spiders are programmed to "crawl" the Internet in search of new or updated web sites. The search engine becomes aware of a new site to visit and index when that site is submitted.

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. SEO can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

e-Inclusion or 'digital inclusion', written eInclusion when referring to specific
policies, is the term used within the European Union to encompass activities related
to the achievement of an inclusive information society. In this vein, new developments
in technology turns the risk of a digital divide into "digital cohesion"
and opportunity, bringing the benefit of the Internet and related technology into
all segments of the population, including people who are disadvantaged due to
education (a specific subset called e-Competences), age (called e-Ageing), gender,
disabilities (called e-Accessibility), ethnicity, and/or those living in remote
regions (subject to the geographical digital divide).
